Georgian TTS: turn text into speech

Ertaoza has its own Georgian text-to-speech model. TTS is the speech-generation layer for a written answer, an article or an instruction. Start with the text you want people to hear, then review how its meaning, names and numbers are conveyed in speech.

A text-to-speech content workflow

  1. Prepare text

Review the wording and intended pronunciation.

  2. Generate speech

Use the TTS layer to produce spoken output.

  3. Listen and approve

Check the result before using or publishing it.

A conceptual editorial workflow. No generated audio or listening demo is embedded on this page.

What is Georgian text to speech?

Text-to-speech, or TTS, converts written text into synthetic speech. Georgian TTS works with Georgian-language content. Unlike speech recognition, it starts with text rather than audio; unlike a language model, its main job is to speak the supplied content, not decide what the answer should be.

Audio content and spoken responses

A TTS project can make existing information available in another form without changing its meaning. Choose content that has an identifiable owner and a review process.

  • Audio versions of articles, instructions and learning material.
  • Spoken replies in a Georgian AI voice assistant.
  • Reviewed announcements and customer-service guidance.
  • Voice output in an agreed application or telephone workflow.

Prepare Georgian text for listening

Text written for a screen may need editing before it is read aloud. Shorter sentences, clear punctuation and an explicit reading of abbreviations make the intended message easier to evaluate.

Identify names, currency amounts, dates, addresses and mixed-language terms in advance. Listen to them in context rather than judging a voice from a single polished sentence. An editor should approve the text and the resulting audio before publication.

What makes a TTS evaluation useful?

Use representative content, including long sentences and unfamiliar terms. Review intelligibility, pronunciation, pauses, consistency and the time required for the intended workflow. A pleasant voice alone does not prove that an amount or a date was spoken correctly.

  • Can a listener understand the sentence without seeing the text?
  • Are names, numbers and abbreviations pronounced as intended?
  • Does the audio preserve the approved content?
  • Does the selected delivery format work in the target channel?

Where TTS fits in an assistant

In a voice assistant, the language layer first prepares the answer. TTS then speaks that answer. This separation matters: fluent audio can still read an incorrect response, so answer review and speech review solve different problems.

If your task is only to produce an audio version of an approved text, you may not need a full conversational agent. Discuss the smallest workflow that meets the content and delivery requirements.

Discuss the voice and delivery requirements

Bring a sample of non-sensitive text, the intended audience and the channel where it will be heard. Voice options, output formats, processing mode, access and usage terms need to be agreed for the project. This page does not establish a public voice-cloning service or a licence to imitate a person.

Questions and answers

Does Ertaoza have its own Georgian TTS model?

Yes. Ertaoza has its own text-to-speech model for Georgian voice work. The model’s role is to turn written text into speech.

Can I generate Georgian speech for free on this page?

No text-to-speech generator is available on this page. It explains the model and project requirements. Contact Ertaoza to discuss a sample workflow, delivery and terms.

Is TTS the same as a voice assistant?

No. TTS is one component: it speaks text. A voice assistant also needs to receive the request, process it and decide what information or response is appropriate.

Does TTS translate or correct the input?

Those are separate language-processing tasks. Review and approve the wording before speech generation rather than assuming the TTS model will translate, correct or fact-check it.

Scope and availability

The technical reference explains TTS generally, not Ertaoza’s architecture or a partnership. No voice catalogue, output-format guarantee or performance benchmark is asserted here.
